Spurs (A)

GREAT ENTERTAINMENT PERHAPS, BUT THREE POINTS WOULD BE NICE

SPUDS 3 -3 ARSENAL

So yet again we were incapable of holding a significant lead. We have now drawn 8 out of our last 16 games, (of course the manager talks about a sixteen game unbeaten run!).

We are in danger of becoming what West Ham were once considered: the purveyors of pretty football, but unlikely to ever win anything.

Despite an improved performance from Cesc, both in the Press (hear, hear El Capitan) and on the pitch, the weaknesses of this team become more apparent with every game. No leadership and too many players not up to it, and sadly, Gael Clichy must now join that list. It was another poor performance from Clichy. What has happened to him? He was such a fine player and I truly believed he could become the best left back in the world at one stage, now he isn’t even the best left-back in the club. Great shame.

The manager persists with the likes of Diaby, Bendtner and Arshavin, and consistently removes Theo from play in the closing stages when his pace is most likely to open up opposition defences – why?

For the neutral, it was a terrific game, full of incident, and at least we didn’t lose, but we need major surgery and soon.

Bolton on Sunday, and some still believe we can do it. Can I please have some of what they are on?

Wenger Out!

Grumpy
